PPC (Pay Per Click) Advertising Then And Now - Make Money Online

Since my first experience with PPC advertising from which i managed to generate two sales and earn $44 overnight, many things have changed along with the internet?s popularity among people who use it for myriad of purposes.

For those who cant survive! without internet, because they do business and make money utilizing the endless opportunities it offers, it has become harsher and more complicated to turn these opportunities into cash.

According to analytics, the internet is gaining very fast momentum and the number of worldwide internet users is increasing rapidly. Therefore, many companies have moved their businesses into internet, either by terminating their offline structures or integrating their offline business to internet by using channels such as social media, search engines, video sites, etc.,..

As internet marketers, we know this change, we see it, we feel it. Because it has become a big part of our daily life. We make money on the internet!

So along with this dramatic change, we find ourselves stuck in a race whoever puts the time and effort, and thinks outside the box! will ?no strings attached? be victorious.

It has become so competitive and over-saturated that advertising companies rely on 3rd parties in order to display their customers? ads. This competitions forced us to do something different and make a difference so as to get the maximum benefits from online opportunities.

As for my experience with PPC advertising, i can say there is of course a decline in revenue along with click through ratio when compared to past. I still use PPC channels to drive traffic to my sites that i promote some niche products which are not so over-saturated. PPC advertising can still make you money if you know what you are doing.

So here i put together 7 tips to power your PPC advertising campaigns:

?1. Know your audience

As with all your marketing, your ad will be targeted at a specific audience. It is important that you make sure your message is written specifically for them. Writing something for everyone will result in a big loss of money with no revenue at the end. We are trying to make money, not to lose money.

?2. Include your keywords

The whole point of PPC is that it?s targeted, so make sure your keywords are included in the heading and body of your ad. Not only will this highlight your ad?s relevance, it will also reassure the potential customer that you are offering what they are looking for. At this point, you better know what your keywords are and which one brings more traffic, which ones are less competitive. Always remember that you should make it cost-effective as possible as you can.

?3. Keyword only headings are a no-no

It may not be a wise move to put all your keywords into your heading, cause it will create something ugly and meaningless. Your heading should be benefits driven, offer a hook and contain your keyword. That?s quite a tall order considering you only have 25 characters to play with, so you?ll have to use your brainpower and be creative. Encourage people to click on your ads. You can be very unusual for example by putting there ?dont click here? as heading and ?Skip this ad if you dont want to earn $100 in 2 hours? as description. It still works.

?4. Be focused

Each ad you write should be focused on one benefit only. You only have 25 characters for your heading and 35 characters for your description, so dont try to sell everything with only one ad. Instead you can create another ad for another product.

?5. Call to action

The best ads are the ones that have a call to action. It could be your phone number or a link. Either way it will add value to your ad and give you a way to measure its effectiveness. If you put there your phone number, for example, your customers may directly give you a call without clicking on your ad, so you save money.

?6. Proofread

So important and yet frequently forgotten about ? proofreading will prevent you from looking like a total amateur and publishing an ad with a blaring typo in it.

?7. Test

The only way to make sure your ads are working as hard as possible for you is to test them. Try different headings, calls to action and benefits to see which brings in the highest response rate. Only through this continual process can you find the perfect formula.

Remember that in order to get real success you need to make an in-depth market research about the niche you want to penetrate. You need to have all the keywords in place and eliminate the ones that brings poor results. At this point Brad Callen?s Niche Finder Will give you what you have been pining for. With this tool, you can;

- find untapped niches

- find out how competitive

- find the keywords for those niches

- see estimated daily & monthly searches

- count how many searches your keywords will get monthly

- and many more features.

You can also creat GEO-targeted ads. GEO target is very important. If you have an e-book written in Turkish for example, promoting it in China will be a total loss of money and disappointment. Simply go to google insights and examine what people are searching on different places. This will give you great ideas. And never make your ad live without examining on Google insights.

?

To your success.
